Nothing takes the taste out of peanut butter quite like unrequited love.

Unrequited Love
It was a rainy afternoon that day we met
I was on a bus going home
My imagination soared while I daydreamed
I was pulled back into reality when he came on
He paid his fare and walked towards the back
He looked at me with much intensity
Me heart raced through my chest
I swore I could hear it pounding
I almost died when he said "hello"
I tried to answer but no words came out
I finally made my mouth answer back
"Hi" was all that formed
We talked for hours about what we luv
Days went by then weeks
I felt like I was in heaven
But all that change one faithful day
It was a Saturday afternoon
We were sitting on a bench in a park
I felt so good I know my heart wouldn't let me down
So I turned around to face him and asked him out
That's when it all came tumbling down
He looked at me the same way when we first met
In his eyes I saw a sadness and sorrow
He said to me words I don't bare to repeat
All I can say it was horrible rejection
From that day I dared not to live
Broken my world became
Shattered in two my heart was
Blood poured out of the wound
Staining my pearl-white lacy dress
All caused by an unrequited love
