Shooting stars in the distance
Traveling through space
Time slows drastically
Whenever I see your face
Butterflies dance in swirls
In the extent of my stomach
Just looking at you
My heart does a plummet
I once saw the world through a closed mind
But when I first saw you I opened my eyes
Forget everything else, I think I can say
I am focused on you in every single way
I looked into your face
Smiled at your eyes
Stared deep and long
Tried to take a peek inside
Yet I'm close and so far away
We�re always interrupted by society today
The need for people to depend on you
Always calling us and making us pre-occupied with them
Makes our love seem so untrue
One day we�ll meet
One day we�ll love
When that day comes
The world will stop
Time would still
All would be is you and I
Though unsure my heart seems
Always caught up in something else
If only people would leave as to be
If only the world would stop at our feet
